Mission statement
We are a user-focused service, which strives to support people with extremely complex needs successfully in the community. Our focus is to encourage people in a homely environment and to provide a service that is person centred. It means finding out what the person wants and how the person’s individual needs can be met, and helping the individual to make choices which are important to them whilst ensuring their views are heard. We encourage individuals to develop their potential skills; competencies and develop their confidence within their home and the community.
Our aim is to promote a consistent approach when undertaking any behavioural strategy or intervention. Without this it is unlikely that lasting behavioural change will be achieved. Where if a strategy is proving too difficult to implement consistently, then we will review the strategy and make any necessary adjustments in-conjunction with all professionals involve
